Welcome back! Did you see any cuckoo clocks?! I had a picture of one in my first colouring book, which had a different item for each country - always remember it! Hope you've had a great holiday, it's somewhere I've always wanted to go.
Yes Jules, hundreds of cuckoo clocks! Your colouring book must have made a deep impression on you to remember it so clearly now. Do you still have it I wonder?
Hello Hello from Far Away. I have not seen a posting from you in a long time.. I love your adventure photos.. Switzerland is certainly a Magical Land.. Loved hearing the Bells ringing in the Mts and of course those rushing streams sing a lovely song... Hugs Judy
Welcome back! And thank you for sharing those pictures with us. Switzerland is nextdoor to my grand-mother's corner of France and, as a child, we would occassionally pop over the border and spend a few hours near Geneva. Happy memories!Stephanie
Wonderful pics - Switzerland is on my list of places that I want to go! Looks like you had a great time.
Welcome back! What fabulous photos - I spent my honeymoon in Interlaken a long, long time ago:)
Well now you have been away and been somewhere delightful by the looks. Makes me think of fresh air and clear skies looking at those photos. So many places I would like to see. Love cuckoo clocks, we had one when I was little, it always fascinated me. Perhaps we can get back to blogging and artwork etc now? :)
Always good to get away and then to come back to one's work with a new perspective. Clocks and bells... I like those, oh, and carved wood, too.
Happy you're back! What a picture perfect holiday. Love the scenery - and the clock, of course. :)
It's nice to be back and am very grateful to all of you for staying around and for your comments. Millefeuilles, that corner of France is equally beautiful as is Geneva.Rowan, I think you will be happy to learn that Interlaken has preserved the large meadow in the centre of the town, so everyone gets a great view of The Jungfrau.
Welcome back Valerie! That first clock is amazing and that sheep, I just made a felted black welsh mountain sheep like that! Look forward to hearing more tales of your wandering.
How lovely to go on a trip!I haven't been to Switzerland for almost 50 years and long to return.Hope you had a splendid time.
Lovely photographs and a brilliant destination! Would love to go there... I'm sure you had fun! K.
How wonderful :) The perfect destination for an autumn holiday!
Lovely, just lovely! Next to Britain, it is a country I would much love to visit. Then I can put away my wish list, for it will be complete. At least I own a Swiss Cuckoo Clock!
