The Gretel Parker Project.
Many of you will already know that our artist friend Gretel Parker, known here for her blog Middle of Nowhere, has recently suffered a bereavement. The story is not mine to tell but because there have been so many people eager to help and many requests for information, I would like to direct you to a fund which has been set up on her behalf. Yes, Frances alerted me to Gretel's terrible sad loss. I have been blog friends with her since about 2007. What a blow for her. Thank you for mentioning this fund.
Is there a way to contact her from the US? I remember reading her post about their new home and feeling as happy for them as if I knew them. I would like to send a donation by snail mail. I am so sorry for her loss, and want to help her as much as I can.

Dear Limner, you can visit Gretel's website and send her an email if you wish. At the moment the fund is collecting donations from all over the world. For obvious security reasons I am unable to publish Gretel's home address but thank you for your response. If you visit the link you can read the FAQ's about other ways you can help.
